Studio Khodai – Handmade Rugs
Studio Khodai (Khodai GmbH) is a Salzburg-based company for handcrafted rugs. The focus is on timeless and sustainable design: every rug is a one-of-a-kind piece, hand-knotted knot by knot. Sustainable materials such as recycled sari silk from original Indian saris and hand-spun sheep's wool are used; the studio also offers upcycled rugs. In addition to handmade designer rugs, the range includes oriental rugs and kelim. Customers in Austria and Germany are served through the showroom in Salzburg (Sterneckstraße 32), the registered office (Linzer Bundesstraße 52) and online sales. Reference projects range from offices and retail spaces to hospitality and residential projects as well as TV productions, including Jägermeister HQ, Scuderia Toro Rosso – Red Bull F1 Energy Station, Peek & Cloppenburg, Schloss Leopoldskron and Germany's Next Topmodel.
