About us
Kieler Maschinenwerke GmbH operates at the Kiel site as a project implementer for demanding machining and assembly work. Its range of services includes CNC milling, turning, grinding as well as manual machining in its own metalworking shop. In addition, the company offers CNC programming, jig design and manufacture, assembly, and its own logistics department. A key focus is the machining of components and the assembly of marine and gas engines in the power range from 1000 kW to 18,000 kW; the company has experience in dealing with marine classification societies. Quality assurance is supported by an in-house laboratory for quality and materials testing as well as an own metrology department. Project management follows Six Sigma methods (CPS Lean and DMAIC).
