About Kiepe.Industry

Kiepe.Industry GmbH develops and manufactures safety and monitoring devices as well as sensors for monitoring and controlling conveyor belt systems in the bulk goods industry. The portfolio includes pull-cord emergency stop switches, belt misalignment and limit switches, bucket elevator and belt tear monitoring, pulse encoders, speed and standstill monitors, and ATEX devices for potentially explosive areas. Development, testing and production take place entirely in Germany, at the Düsseldorf site (factory address) and Löhne (administrative headquarters). The devices are characterized by robust housings made of aluminium, brass or plastic with protection ratings up to IP67 and are designed for extreme industrial environments such as mining, quarries, power plants, steelworks and open-pit ore mining. Around 50 branch offices and distributors are represented worldwide; conveyor belt lines with a total length of more than 80,000 km are equipped with KIEPE products. Since 2025, the company has been part of the steute Group, a portfolio company of Battery Ventures.
