Who we are
Kies- & Betonwerk Frei AG, based in Kleinandelfingen, supplies the Zurich Wine Country and adjacent areas with gravel, concrete and other building materials and components. The company specialises in demolition and earthworks and operates its own recycling site with a crushing plant for construction debris processing in Marthalen. The landfill operation in Marthalen also includes sludge disposal using a sludge press as well as the proper treatment of neophytes. At the Kleinandelfingen site, a modern concrete plant with silo feeding, a gravel processing plant including a screening plant and a gravel pick-up point for collection customers are available. The company's own truck fleet with truck mixers handles material deliveries and transports. The company, which grew out of the Frei family's gravel business, has been part of the Winterthur-based Toggenburger AG since 2012.

Hans Frei junior works in the family business; in addition, a farm and the Kreuzstrasse restaurant in Humlikon.
