Kiesel Bauchemie GmbH u. Co. KG, headquartered in Esslingen am Neckar, develops and produces installation materials for ceramic tiles, slabs and natural stone, for textile and resilient floor coverings, as well as materials for parquet installation and finishing. All production takes place exclusively in Esslingen-Sirnau; research, development and application technology are bundled in the so-called DenkFabrik (idea factory) at the headquarters in Esslingen-Berkheim. Products are sold via a three-tier sales channel through specialist retailers to the skilled trades, complemented by technical customer service, seminars and a pump service with screw pumps for machine application on the construction site. The company employs 140 staff and operates internationally via subsidiaries in France and the Czech Republic as well as activities in Europe, Japan, North America and Oceania.
