About Kieswerk Daepp AG

Kieswerk Daepp AG is a Swiss family company based in Oppligen in the Bernese Oberland that has been mining and processing gravel and sand in the Aare Valley since 1927. At the Oppligen site, the raw materials are washed, classified and crushed; the computer-controlled Ammann processing plant handles up to 200 t of round material or 70 t of crushed material per hour in 17 components. From the processed mineral aggregates, the company's own concrete plant produces classified and non-classified concrete grades according to SN EN 206, recycled concrete, mortar according to SN EN 998-2, and the modular concrete block SwissBlock®. As a licensee of Presyn, the company also produces special products such as masonry mortar, architectural concrete, steel fibre concrete and anhydrite flowing screed. Delivery to the construction industry is on schedule with its own vehicle fleet, including special vehicles with conveyor belts or pumps. The Ried gravel pit in Kirchdorf is operated using dry extraction and is recultivated after extraction.
