Kieswerk Heimberg AG is a family business founded in 1947 and now run by the third generation, based in Heimberg in the Bernese Oberland (Canton of Bern, Switzerland). The company operates a gravel plant with a processing capacity of around 1'000 tonnes per day as well as a recycling site for old asphalt, concrete rubble and other recyclable materials. The product range includes washed and crushed aggregates (including round sand, round gravel, concrete gravel, chippings to SN EN 13043, crushed sand, Reutigen marl), topsoil as well as RC concrete granulate and RC concrete sand. In addition, the company offers transports (gravel, sand, concrete, WE-LA-KI), truck crane and special deployments, a skip service with roll-off skips from 2 to 40 m³, ready-mix concrete with truck mixers including telescopic conveyor belt, and additional services such as Kies 2 Go for collection customers up to 3.5 tonnes, boat cleaning and an in-house garage. Since 2025, the affiliated Asphalt Center Heimberg AG has been responsible for surfacing work. The company supplies the construction industry, civil engineering/road construction as well as landscaping in the Thun/Bern region.
