About Kieswerk Hüswil

Kieswerk Hüswil AG is a building materials producer in Hüswil in the canton of Lucerne that has been extracting and refining gravel from the Hüswil pit since 1936. The company produces crushed and screened aggregates (gravels, sands, chippings, rock materials), recycled building materials, rolled asphalt and ready-mixed concrete. In its own asphalt mixing plant with a parallel drum, recycled content of up to 70 % is possible; 400 tonnes of asphalt can be pre-produced and stored hot. In addition to classic building materials, the company develops climate building materials such as path surfacings, Gwäggi natural stone products and substrates with soil steam sterilisation. With its own truck fleet (Napf Transport AG) and partner companies, it delivers throughout Switzerland, also on weekends or at night by prior arrangement. Extraction sites are renaturalised in accordance with the FSKB recultivation guidelines; the adjacent area is listed in the Federal Inventory of Amphibian Spawning Areas of National Importance.
