About Kieswerk Klardorf

Kieswerk Klardorf GmbH & Co. Produktions KG has been extracting gravel and sand at the Klardorf site near Schwandorf in the Upper Palatinate since 1972. The company extracts the raw materials in open-pit mining and processes them in its own gravel washing and screening plant: organic components are separated out and the material is sorted by grain size. The product range includes washed gravel-sand 0–4 mm, chippings in various grain sizes, grading fractions from 0–8 mm to 100–x mm, frost-protective gravel 0–63 mm, as well as filter gravels, topsoil and excavated material for backfilling. Customers include the concrete industry and construction firms from civil engineering, screed construction, landfill construction as well as landscaping, along with small and private customers. The products are loaded ex works and are quality-monitored according to EN 12620. The equipment includes Komatsu wheel loaders of the WA470 and WA430 types, sorting and mixing plants and conveyor belts.
