About Kieswerk Lorenzhof

The Kieswerk Lorenzhof gravel plant in Wesseling near Cologne extracts and supplies Rhine sand and Rhine gravel from the Rhine works site. The product range includes fine aggregates such as Rhine sand 0/1 (filler sand) and Rhine sand 0/2, coarse grades such as Rhine gravel 2/8, 8/16 and 16/32, as well as grain mixtures such as screed sand 0/8, concrete gravel 0/16 and 0/32 and crushed sand 0/5 (paving gravel). The products are used in accordance with DIN EN 12620 for concrete, mortar, asphalt and surface treatments as well as for road, garden and landscape construction. The company operates its own landfill for backfilling, offers loading of the aggregates ex works and issues declarations of performance under the EU Construction Products Regulation with CE marking. The administration is located in Cologne, while the plant site is situated on Brühler Straße in Wesseling with access via the A 553.
