Kieswerk Obermayr GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company in Munich-Riem, near the Riem trade fair grounds. Its range of services includes the extraction and sale of sand, gravel and grit, crushed stone and natural stone products such as Jura landscaping stones, gabion stones, boulders and dolomite grit, as well as recycled products such as RC concrete. In addition, the company offers earthworks (earth movement, backfills, foundation excavation, soil removal, excavator work), haulage services with its own vehicle fleet, and the disposal and recycling of building materials, concrete, construction rubble, ceramics and excavated soil. Customers have access to an in-house weighbridge with weighbridge ticket; Big Packs, concrete blocks (Legioblock) and winter grit are also offered. The catchment area covers the city and district of Munich as well as all of Upper Bavaria. In its extraction operations, the company places value on environmentally compatible mining and proper recultivation of the land.
