About Kieswerk Schäfer

Kieswerk Schäfer GmbH is a family-owned company from Schemmerhofen founded in 1952 by Fritz and Gretel Neubrand, now run by the third generation. The company extracts and processes the raw materials gravel and sand in its own extraction and processing plants and delivers crushed stone, gravel, sand and earthwork materials with twelve tipper trucks in the payload range of 6.5 to 40 tonnes. In addition to raw material extraction, the service portfolio includes earthworks for industrial, municipal and single-family residential construction, demolition work including clean-sorted construction debris disposal, transport services, vegetation clearing, well foundations in special civil engineering and flood protection. For well foundations, steel pipes with diameters from DN1000 to DN2500 are pressed into the subsoil, excavated and filled with in-situ concrete. The company maintains a fully equipped workshop truck and its own workshop with a workshop foreman, where repairs and customer service work are carried out in-house.
