About Kieswerk Stucki AG
Kieswerk Stucki AG, based in Linden (BE), operates gravel and rock extraction sites in the Emmental region as well as the Gridenbühl gravel and concrete plant. At the plant, round gravel and sand are washed, screened and classified; surplus material is processed into crushed sand, chippings and crushed stone in the jaw crusher and impact mill. In the Kemmerizopfen quarry in Schangnau, Alpine limestone of the Schrattenfluh formation is extracted and processed into natural stone, rubble stones, gabion stones, marl and frost-resistant unbound mixtures (UG 0/45). At the concrete plant in Linden, concretes according to SN EN 206 (incl. SCC concrete), transport mortars made from natural sand and SFB liquid soil are produced; recycled material from concrete demolition is processed with a concrete crusher and air classifier. In addition, the company manufactures stone baskets (gabions), ashlar and concrete block stones, trough fountains and gabion garden grills, and operates its own workshop with a metalworking shop. With a transport fleet including a concrete pump, telescopic conveyor belt, crane vehicles and heavy transport, deliveries are made all the way to the construction site.

Quality and certificates
Concrete production and aggregates are certified; certified concrete grades are periodically tested for grain composition, compressive strength, special properties and yield. A WPK (factory production control) officer supervises the in-house production control, complemented by AAR testing of the concrete.
