About Kieswerke Glöwen
Kieswerke Glöwen GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1992 and is part of the Stamer group of companies. The company extracts and processes aggregates from Quaternary sands and gravels of the Saale glaciation. The product range comprises fill sand, natural sand 0/2 and 0/4, dry-screened gravels (including 2/32, 16/32, 32/65, washed round stone), washed gravels such as concrete sand 0/8, mixed gravel 0/16 and 0/32, and GGK gradings, as well as road construction materials such as frost protection layers (FSS 0/4, FSS 0/32), gravel base course STS 0/32 and crushed sand. In addition to standard grades, custom blends are produced to customer specifications. Customers include the concrete industry as well as asphalt, road and civil engineering; delivery is provided free to construction site or free to the customer's premises. Production takes place at the Glöwen (Prignitz district, Brandenburg) and Groß Buchholz sites. The quality of the construction materials is verified by an in-house production control system and regularly confirmed by external laboratories; declarations of performance in accordance with EN 12620 and EN 13043 are available for concrete and asphalt grades.

The quality of the construction materials is verified as part of the in-house production control and regularly confirmed by external laboratories. Declarations of performance under System 2+ are in place for concrete and asphalt grades with the notified bodies Kiwa GmbH (0770) and asphalt-labor Hinrichsen (1323) respectively.
