About Kimoto Ltd. Switzerland

Kimoto Ltd. Switzerland was founded in 1974 to develop the European market for the Kimoto Group, whose parent company Kimoto Co. Ltd. Tokyo has existed since 1952. The Swiss company sells coated functional films for applications in the electronics, lighting, communications, automotive and printing industries, as well as graphic materials such as matte PET drafting films and artwork films for laser printers. The films are manufactured in the group's coating plants in Ibaraki and Mie (Japan) as well as in Cedartown (USA) in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certified cleanroom environments. The technology portfolio includes light management coatings, hard coating with increased scratch and chemical resistance, adhesive coatings and electrically conductive coatings for transparent conductive films. An in-house R&D team develops films tailored to customer requirements; storage and converting take place at the Embraport bonded warehouse in Embrach. Customers in Europe, Africa and the Middle East have been supplied for over 40 years, complemented by a European central warehouse in Germany.
