About Kingsbury
Kingsbury, Inc. is a privately held US manufacturer specializing in fluid-film bearing technology since 1912. The company manufactures hydrodynamic bearings in axial (thrust) and radial (journal) designs, tilting-pad bearings, combination systems in their own housing, and fixed-profile bearings for low-load and low-speed applications. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Messinger Bearings, custom large rolling-element bearings with diameters up to 25 feet have been designed, manufactured, and repaired since 1912. The portfolio is complemented by repair and service offerings for turbine bearings, commissioning support, field service, and technical support. Fields of application include hydropower, marine and Navy, nuclear power, geothermal and wind energy, gas and steam turbines for power generation, oil and gas compression, and pump systems. Kingsbury has announced the construction of a new production facility in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
