KINI Beschläge GmbH, based in Velbert (North Rhine-Westphalia), manufactures folding-shutter interior openers as well as associated fittings such as hinges, bolt anchors, cranks and accessories. The interior openers enable convenient opening and closing of folding shutters on windows and doors from inside – without opening the window and without clearing the windowsill. The self-locking gear additionally acts as burglary protection and makes separate shutter locks and shutter holders unnecessary; the fittings also withstand high wind loads. The standard version is supplied electro-galvanized bright; all RAL colors are available on request. In addition to hand-crank-operated solutions, KINI offers an electric drive with control unit and connection to smart-home home automation systems. The interior openers can also be retrofitted to wooden, aluminum and plastic folding shutters; fields of application include new construction, new window concepts and renovation of existing buildings.
