About Kisag

Kisag AG is a manufacturer of kitchen appliances based in Bellach in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland. The company was founded in 1945 by Walter Kissling as a foundry, who developed a process for recycling aluminum foil; this aluminum was initially used to produce kitchen appliances for households and catering, such as pans, steam cookers, fruit presses, and potato peelers. Kisag became internationally known through the whipped cream dispenser patented in 1958 using compressed gas cartridges, which sold over one million units in the 1960s and 1970s. Today, the portfolio comprises over 200 products, including whippers, hand blenders, safety gas burners, fondue and raclette sets, caquelons, and kitchen helpers made of silicone, wood, and stainless steel. Products are distributed through its own online shop, the factory store in Bellach, and specialist dealers; spare parts and a repair service complement the offering. Target groups include end consumers, outdoor and camping use, and professional catering. In 2017, VEBO Genossenschaft in Oensingen took over Kisag AG, continuing the operations in Switzerland with all jobs unchanged.
