A Company with Tradition
Kissing GmbH from Menden (Sauerland) is a family-run company, operating in its fifth generation since 1850, which develops and produces minted coins, talers, value tokens, jetons, medals, orders, pins, as well as religious devotional items and host wafer baking equipment. The manufacturing includes the casting of casting plates – such as for wafer baking plates and crucifixes – the finest engravings, stamping using a 1,000-ton minting press and a high-speed coin press, as well as electroplating for gilding and surface finishing with a modern wastewater treatment plant. The product range extends from vending machine tokens, washing tokens, and product designations to sports medals and carnival orders, up to complete host wafer baking machines for open fires and electric operation. The products are exported to over 130 countries worldwide; numerous baking machines built over a hundred years ago are still in use due to their robust design. Customers come from, among others, sporting events, carnival, church supplies, and industry.
