Gear manufacturing since 1925
Kissling AG from Bachenbülach has been designing and manufacturing gears for demanding industrial applications since 1925. The portfolio includes ropeway gears, turbo gears up to 10 MW and 60'000 min⁻¹, heavy-duty planetary gears up to 5'000 kNm, extruder gears, spur, bevel and worm gears as well as special gears for test rigs, amusement rides and research projects. Design is carried out to ISO, DIN and AGMA standards using the KISSsoft calculation software and FEM simulations (ANSYS Workbench). All gears are assembled in the company's own workshop, tested on in-house test rigs, painted and packaged. A dedicated Service Center offers repairs, overhauls, re-engineering and spare parts for its own and third-party products, complemented by an in-house shot-blasting facility. Customers include ropeways, the cement and sugar industries, paper machines, extrusion systems, test rigs and power plants worldwide.
