About KITEO

KITEO Licht GmbH, based in Jennersdorf (Austria), develops and manufactures LED luminaires for daylight-like illumination. The portfolio comprises recessed, surface-mounted, pendant, wall and floor luminaires as well as spotlights, optionally with Fixed White or PI-LED technology, which combines daylight-like illumination with RGB colours in a single light source. For energy-efficient luminaire replacement, KITEO offers the ENEC-certified RE-FIT retrofit kit, which is used at Vienna General Hospital (AKH Wien) with around 52,000 luminaires, saving around 700 tonnes of CO2 and 2.7 GWh of electricity there annually. In addition, the company provides lighting concepts and light management systems based on Casambi, DALI and ZigBee/NeoLink. Users include hospitals, education, hotels, offices and administration; reference projects include, alongside AKH Wien and Wien Energie, the Munich University of Applied Sciences and Hotel Hall. The German branch is located in Munich. KITEO is part of the LUMITECH Group.
