About Klaas
Klaas develops and sells work equipment for safe and efficient access to working heights, including truck-mounted and trailer cranes, aerial work platforms, building hoists, furniture hoists, as well as fire brigade rescue booms and platforms. The equipment is developed according to the principle of “from practice – for practice”; since the development of the first Klaas aluminium crane in 1993, more than 9,000 truck-mounted and trailer cranes have been sold worldwide. A key focus is low-emission battery technology: the electric cranes operate quietly and offer long runtimes in crane and platform operation, such as the new 7.5-tonne crane K775 E with a 400-volt battery system and 71-kWh storage. The offering includes the sale of new and used equipment, rental including operators, repair and spare parts, as well as training through the Klaas Academy. In addition to its headquarters, Klaas operates a service and rental station in Kirchheimbolanden.
