About Kläger Spritzguss
Kläger Spritzguss GmbH & Co. KG is an owner-managed company based in Dornstetten, Baden-Württemberg, specializing in high-precision injection molded parts and system solutions made of technical ceramics, plastics and metal. Its core competence is Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM), in which the company has been active since 1996 – the first product was a nozzle for high-pressure cleaners. The portfolio includes engineering and material consulting, the construction of precision, multi-cavity and PIM injection molding tools, plastics injection molding with a focus on engineering thermoplastics, Metal Injection Molding (MIM) and additive manufacturing of technical ceramics (CAM). The entire value chain – from tool design through injection molding, debinding (thermal/catalytic, Catamold) and sintering to hard machining, finishing and system integration of assemblies – is carried out in-house. Materials processed include alumina in various purity grades (96–99.9%), zirconia, mixed oxide ceramics (ZTA/ATZ) and silicon nitride; lot sizes range from 500 to over 1,000,000 parts. Customer industries include mechanical engineering, chemical and process engineering, household appliances, electrical engineering and medical technology.

Materials and Processes
Alumina 96%
Economical oxide-ceramic standard material with high hardness and insulation capability for wear and insulation components.
Alumina 99.5%
Higher purity grade with improved mechanical properties for demanding applications.
Alumina 99.7–99.8%
High-purity alumina ceramic with increased flexural strength and hardness values for precision components.
Alumina 99.9%
Highest purity grade with an optimal property profile for corrosion- and temperature-stressed components.
Zirconia (ZrO2)
High-fracture-toughness ceramic with high flexural strength and low thermal conductivity, e.g. for cutting and impact applications.
ZTA (80% Al2O3 / 20% ZrO2)
Mixed oxide ceramic with a balanced ratio of strength and toughness.
ATZ (20% Al2O3 / 80% ZrO2)
Mixed oxide ceramic with high fracture toughness and thermal shock resistance.
ATZ (5% Al2O3 / 95% ZrO2)
Zirconia-rich mixed oxide material with a formulation adapted to the respective application.
Silicon Nitride (Si3N4)
Non-oxide high-performance ceramic for components subjected to heavy mechanical and thermal stress.
Stainless Steel 316L (MIM)
Corrosion-resistant stainless steel for injection molded metal parts in Metal Injection Molding.
Thermoplastics / Engineering Plastics
High-precision injection molded plastic parts with high functional integration made from all common standard thermoplastics.
