Company Profile

Klaucke & Meigies Formenbau GmbH is a family-run tool and mould maker founded in 1994 and based in Lüdenscheid. The company with 16 employees manufactures high-precision injection moulds in all technical versions for thermoplastic and thermoset parts. The value chain ranges from design in 3D-CAD/CAM (eight networked workstations, simulation, concept and feasibility studies) and in-house mould making through to worldwide commissioning of the tools at the customer's site. The core competence is the forming tool internals; standard catalog components are used as standardized parts on a modular system principle. The machine park comprises five CNC milling machining centres (3- and 5-axis, HSC), sink and wire EDM machines with automatic handling systems, and a coordinate measuring machine. Customers come mainly from the automotive, electrical, IT, household appliance and railway industries as well as from pump manufacturers; many moulds are in use worldwide, including in China and Kazakhstan.
