The clutch team – manufacturing since 1977

Klaus Reinicke GmbH, based in Barsbüttel near Hamburg, has been manufacturing and remanufacturing clutch parts for buses, commercial vehicles (trucks), tractors and agricultural machinery, vintage cars and racing vehicles since 1977. The product range covers pressure plates, clutch discs, flywheels, release bearings, pilot bearings and accessories – as standard exchange or new-production parts for almost every European vehicle in the bus, commercial vehicle and tractor segment. The value chain extends from turning and grinding of pressure plates and flywheels, riveting of clutch linings on a 100-ton press and machining of diaphragm spring tips, through to dynamic balancing of the clutch assemblies. In addition, the company offers custom-made products, sports clutches, repair of release bearings, individual repairs on vintage cars as well as a 24-hour repair service and 24-hour emergency service. In 1995 a branch was established in Stendal near Magdeburg; through continuous investment, both production sites have been developed into modern exchange-part manufacturing facilities for engine clutches.

Quality and final inspection

All manufactured parts undergo strict final quality inspection on test benches developed specifically for this purpose; tested parameters include, among others, pressing force, adjustment, axial runout and the final clutch inspection. For purchased spare parts, almost exclusively suppliers with certified quality assurance systems from the automotive industry are used.
