About K.M.E.
Klingenthaler Musikelektronik GmbH (K.M.E.) develops and manufactures professional loudspeaker and sound reinforcement systems in Klingenthal for touring, fixed installations and portable applications. The value chain covers wood cutting of the enclosures, metalworking of front grilles and rigging systems, PU coating, final assembly, and acoustic testing in its own anechoic sound measurement room. The products use neodymium loudspeakers and fully digital audio systems; enclosures are made of wood with weather-resistant polyurethane coating, and front grilles are made of steel or stainless steel. The portfolio includes line array systems (GALO, PANO), installation loudspeakers (Fisco), portable systems (Versio X) as well as communication solutions. A 30-strong team from development, production and sales serves customers worldwide; an Audio Competence Center is used for demonstrations under realistic conditions.
