About KLN Ultraschall AG
KLN Ultraschall AG, headquartered in Heppenheim (64646), has been developing and manufacturing systems based on ultrasonic technology for more than 75 years, serving two product areas: plastic joining technology and industrial cleaning technology. In the field of plastic joining technology, the portfolio includes mechanical processes such as ultrasonic, vibration and spin welding as well as thermal processes such as hot plate, infrared and laser welding, hot air and hot riveting, and the embedding of metals in plastic. The offering comprises standard systems, the EssentialTEC product line, contract and sample welding as well as prototype series, through to custom systems with feeding technology and robotic handling – including finishing systems for plastic fuel tanks, rotary table systems and fully automated machining cells. Joining partners include not only thermoplastics but also metals, textiles and cardboard; for plastics that are critical in welding terms, such as POM or PAGF, hot riveting is used. In the cleaning field, the company manufactures ultrasonic immersion tanks (DMS), compact systems, stand-alone systems, modular systems, solvent and inline spray cleaning systems as well as drying systems. Metal foil radiators for infrared systems are manufactured in-house at KLN. The company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and supplies industries such as the automotive and household appliance industries.
