About Klumpp
Klumpp GmbH & Co. KG, founded in 1969 and headquartered in Bretten, is a manufacturer of precision turned parts. The company produces demanding turned parts with diameters of 2 to 32+ mm on over 200 CNC-controlled and cam-controlled multi-spindle machines, rotary transfer machines and single-spindle lathes – from small series to production in the millions, with around 19 million precision parts per year. Materials processed include stainless steel, free-cutting steel, copper alloys, aluminium and brass as 3-meter bar stock with runout and dimensional tolerances down to 0.01 mm. The depth of production covers heat treatment with an in-house through-feed furnace, hard turning, grinding, lapping, blasting, deburring, surface treatment, and the assembly of modules up to complex assemblies. Customers come from the automotive industry, medical technology, hydraulics and pneumatics, mechanical and plant engineering, as well as electrical engineering and electronics. Around 430 employees work at the three sites in Bretten, Pößneck and Bacău on over 25,000 m² of production space.
