Klumpp Coatings GmbH was founded in 1919 as a family business of the Klumpp family and develops and produces coating systems for wood, HDF/MDF, mineral fiber, foil and plastic surfaces (PVC/WPC). The products are aimed at the panel, furniture and flooring industries, in particular parquet, laminate and vinyl manufacturers as well as the printing industry. Core technologies include radiation-curing UV systems, water-based coatings, stains, oils, digital printing ink systems, and 3D printing and digital texturing systems. In addition to its paint production in Stuttgart and Wuppertal, the company offers research and development, coloristics, coating line layout planning, and a global technical service with an application technology center. Since 2020, Klumpp Coatings has belonged to the SIC Holding of Peter Möhrle Holding, and since 2023 to the Sherwin-Williams Company. The main plant in Stuttgart houses administration, development and production; further production and sales locations are located in Europe and Asia.
