KMA Umwelttechnik GmbH, headquartered in Königswinter, develops and manufactures exhaust air filtration systems and heat recovery systems for industry. The product portfolio includes the ULTRAVENT® electrostatic filter cells, which highly efficiently separate smoke, dust, finest mist as well as sticky or greasy aerosols, and the AAIRMAXX® electrostatic tube filters for exhaust air with high emission concentrations. A fully automatic, programmable filter cleaning system (CIP) ensures constant filter performance without downtime or manual cleaning. Integrated heat exchangers recover process heat from the exhaust air; in combination with the Ambitherm® heat pump, heat recovery can also be used at low exhaust air temperatures. The systems are assembled modularly according to the modular principle and are used, among others, in die casting foundries, the metal industry, textile finishing, food processing as well as the rubber and plastics industry. As an alternative to post-combustion (TNV/KNV), recirculating air operation enables energy savings of up to 80–85%. International sales partners serve markets outside Germany.
