KMT Külzer Medizintechnik GmbH was founded in 1986 by Wolfgang Külzer and is a specialized dealer for new and used ultrasound equipment. The company advises physicians and hospitals on selecting suitable ultrasound systems across manufacturers and sells devices from, among others, GE HealthCare, Philips, Samsung, Hitachi/Aloka, Mindray and Siemens. The Koblenz headquarters offers a large showroom with around 200 ultrasound systems as well as a probe warehouse with several hundred probes for testing and comparison. The company's own technical department handles commissioning, technical inspections and maintenance in accordance with the MPG (German Medical Devices Act), as well as repairs, and equips inspected devices with the KMT seal of trust. In addition to selling more than 500 systems per year, KMT offers financing models (renting, leasing, buying), training, network integration with practice IT systems, and a 24-hour on-site service.
