Knäpper Oberflächentechnik GmbH is an owner-managed family business in its second generation with over 30 years of experience in heavy corrosion protection and surface technology. The company develops, manufactures and applies surface protection systems for steel, concrete and other substrates, including flake coatings based on vinyl ester resin, reinforced laminate linings, soft and hard rubber linings, fluoropolymer linings, acid-resistant brick linings and wear protection systems. In the field of plastics technology, Knäpper manufactures piping, vessels, linings and apparatus from thermoplastics and GRP. Services include consulting, damage analysis, refurbishment concepts, project management, quality assurance and application on site or at the company's own plant in Selm (North Rhine-Westphalia), where production halls of over 10,000 m² are available for transportable components up to 5,000 mm in diameter. Customers come from industries such as the chemical industry, power plant engineering, flue gas cleaning, waste incineration plants, petrochemicals, hydraulic steel construction, shipping and fertilizer production.
