The service company Gisbert Knappmeyer, Beverage Dispensing Systems & Gastronomy Technology was founded in April 1996 and is based in Oer-Erkenschwick (North Rhine-Westphalia). It offers craft and service work relating to refrigeration and beverage dispensing system technology: repair, maintenance and new installations in refrigeration technology, air conditioning systems, planning and construction of beverage dispensing systems for beer, non-alcoholic beverages and table water as well as professional beverage dispensing system cleaning in accordance with HACCP requirements. Further services include gas warning systems for carbon dioxide, mixed gas and nitrogen, nitrogen generation and mixed gas production, repair of refrigerated furniture, planning and installation of cooling cells and cold rooms as well as trading in technical gastronomy equipment. Since 1 March 2012, the company has been a recognized course provider of the Social Insurance Institution for the Food and Catering Industry (BGG/GUV-G 968, today DGUV Principle 310-007) and trains competent persons for beverage dispensing systems. Customers come from gastronomy, the beverage industry, beverage wholesale, the brewing industry, the gas industry, associations as well as large companies such as Deutsche Bahn AG.
