About KNF

KNF was founded in 1946 by Kurt Neuberger in Freiburg im Breisgau and remains an independent, family-owned company to this day. The company is an internationally active solution provider for the development, design, production and distribution of diaphragm pumps and systems for the transfer of gases and liquids. In addition to diaphragm pumps, the technology portfolio includes solenoid, rocking piston and boxer pumps as well as laboratory vacuum systems. Based on a modular platform system, pumps are configured customer-specifically from individual key components; custom-specific solutions account for around 90 percent of revenue, with approximately 2000 new customer projects per year. Production centers are located in Germany (Freiburg-Munzingen), Switzerland (Sursee and Reiden) and the USA (Trenton); worldwide, KNF maintains 24 locations with more than 900 employees. Customers come from industries such as medical technology, mechanical engineering, process engineering, laboratory technology, inkjet printing and environmental monitoring.
