KNIPPING Kunststofftechnik GESSMANN GmbH is a technology partner and system supplier for plastic components, supporting customers from concept through product development and prototyping to series production. The company manufactures individual parts and complex assemblies from thermoplastics and thermosets, also in combination with metal insert technology, as well as injection-molded silicone parts and PU foams. The range of services is complemented by in-house toolmaking, plastic welding and innovative assembly and testing technologies. Key industries are the automotive industry, e-mobility and PEM fuel cells; in the innovation field, KNIPPING develops balance-of-plant components, including for the cathode subsystem of fuel cells, as well as humidifier solutions. With around 975 employees at six sites in Germany, Hungary and Mexico, the company processes 12,000 tonnes of plastic annually and produces 1.4 billion plastic parts per year with revenue of 170 million euros.
