Knoblauch GmbH is a family-run company with a long tradition, headquartered in Immendingen and employing around 150 staff at six locations of its own from the Black Forest to the Allgäu region. The company offers complete sales and service in the field of agricultural, grounds-care and municipal machinery from a single source. As a Mercedes-Benz Unimog general distributor, Knoblauch has been active in Unimog sales and service since 1951; the portfolio also includes John Deere agricultural technology, Fuso Trucks, Lindner, municipal tractors as well as attachments for winter and summer maintenance from manufacturers such as Aebi Schmidt, Bucher, Dücker and Mulag. Machines are also available for special crops such as hops, fruit, vegetables and viticulture as well as for grassland and forage harvesting technology. In addition to new machinery, the company sells used machines, operates workshops and service diagnostics for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and Unimog, and stocks spare parts with a total value of more than EUR 1.5 million. Its delivery area covers Baden-Württemberg, parts of Bavaria and adjacent Austrian regions.

History

1. 1948

   Founded by engineer August Knoblauch in Immendingen as a workshop for engine overhaul

2. 1951

   General distributorship for Daimler-Benz Unimog

3. 1956

   Construction of a new workshop with petrol station

4. 1970

   Agency agreement with Daimler-Benz for passenger cars and trucks; conversion into a limited partnership (Kommanditgesellschaft)

5. 1974

   Expansion to include lawn tractors, sweeping machines and winter maintenance equipment

6. 1980

   New construction of workshop and office facilities

7. 1992

   Acquisition of the Wohlgschaft company and start as a John Deere sales partner
