Knuth Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH is a family business founded in 1923 in Königsberg, now run by the fourth generation, headquartered in Wasbek near Neumünster. The company manufactures and sells a broad portfolio of conventional and CNC machine tools: CNC lathes, drilling machines, grinding machines, band saws and circular saws, plasma and fiber laser cutting systems, die sinking EDM machines, as well as machines for sheet metal and tube processing. At the headquarters, covering 16,000 m², around 1,000 machines are in stock, many of them available for in-house demonstrations. In addition, KNUTH offers consulting, commissioning, maintenance, repair, spare parts service and training. With locations in Germany, the USA, Mexico and South Africa, a presence in over 30 countries and more than 150,000 installed machines, the company supplies customers from the automotive, shipbuilding, toolmaking, aerospace and other industries; more than 50,000 companies work with KNUTH machines.
