Koch-Chemie GmbH, headquartered in Unna, has been developing, producing and distributing chemical cleaning and care products for wash chemistry, vehicle detailing, workshops and industry since 1968, and for the marine segment since 2024. As a system supplier, the company covers the entire value chain: research and development of its own formulations in a modern, well-equipped laboratory, chemical production in mixing vessels, fully automatic filling of small and large containers including labelling, as well as warehousing and worldwide shipping. Production uses surfactants made from renewable raw materials; all surfactants and complexing agents are readily biodegradable, and halogenated hydrocarbons, EDTA and APEO are avoided. Customers include premium automakers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, VW and Audi, car wash operators, vehicle detailers, industrial companies and building cleaning service providers. Around 140 employees work at the Unna site, where more than 6 million litres are filled per year. Since June 2017 the company has belonged to France's Novarc Group; sales companies exist in France (Croissy-Beaubourg) and the USA (Alpharetta, Georgia), and distributors supply more than 70 countries.
