Koch Kabel AG, headquartered in Pfaffnau (Switzerland), specializes in custom cable solutions. The company develops and assembles to customer specification data and sensor cables, highly flexible drag chain cables, servo, robotics and bus cables, fiber optic cables (POF, PCF, glass fiber), safety cables (Cca/B2ca, FE180 E30–E90) as well as temperature-resistant cables made of silicone, PTFE, FEP and ETFE. The product range is complemented by cable protection systems (Teaflex, IRIS-certified for rail vehicles), cable glands, entry systems (Variozell/Variosolid), bonding and earthing straps, copper busbars as well as connectors M8/M12, RJ45, D-Sub, DVI and USB. Copper conductors (bare, tinned, silver-plated) up to 500 mm² cross-section are stranded in-house; cables with diameters up to 35 mm are cut, stripped, printed with ink-jet and rewound on modern machines (Speedy, komax kappa 230, Nicoletti CD15M3). Customers come from factory automation, machine and plant engineering, power plant technology, offshore, medical technology, rail and airport lighting; the Paris Metro uses safety cables from Koch Kabel.
