Koch & Schulte GmbH & Co. KG has been producing high-quality, custom-tailored wood coating agents for crafts and industry for over 30 years. At its headquarters in Linden (Westerwald), primers, wood stains, wood oils, topcoats, wood lacquers and special products are developed and manufactured. The product range includes the KS Classic brand for crafts and trade as well as LIGNOPRO®, a product line for industrial applications with formulations tailored to machine processability. The field of specialization is coating systems for the glulam industry, including BSH-Varnish for glulam, CLT-Varnish for cross-laminated timber and BauBuche-Varnish, which was developed in cooperation with the manufacturer Pollmeier. In addition to standard products, the company offers individual formulations and recipe adjustments, application engineering advice, special color tones according to RAL K7 and an express delivery service in containers from 20 liters to IBC (1000 l). The products are water-based, formulated on acrylate, alkyd resin or natural oil base, and can be applied by dipping, flow-coating, spraying or brushing.

Pure acrylate (water-based)
Binder base for BSH-Varnish, CLT-Varnish and hydro stains with UV protection and film-forming properties.
Natural oils and alkyd resins
Base for Hydrostop H2O and wood protection primer W; penetrates deep into the wood and hydrophobizes without a coating film.
Glulam (BSH)
Main application substrate of the BSH-Varnish products for glued laminated beams in structural timber engineering.
Cross-laminated timber (CLT)
Coated with CLT-Varnish for protection during transport and construction phase.
BauBuche
Coating systems for Pollmeier BauBuche with temporary moisture protection for up to 12 weeks of weathering.
Silver fir / spruce
Facade profiles, coated by flow and brush (Floatbrush) or vacuum process.
