About Koch Türen
Koch Türen GmbH is an Austrian, owner-managed family company based in Steinach am Brenner in the Tyrolean Wipptal valley. Founded in 1979 by Johann Koch, the company manufactures interior doors, glass doors, sliding doors as well as entrance doors and security doors made to measure in joinery quality — with around 80 employees and approximately 25,000 custom-made doors per year. Production is industrial yet with a craftsmanship ambition: door frames, frame systems, materials and surfaces are individually combined, and frames are pre-assembled as complete units. Raw materials include solid wood, especially oak, as well as timber from regulated and sustainable forestry; surfaces are finished, among other options, as sanded lacquer, water-based lacquer or oil treatment. The range also includes certified security doors with fire, smoke and sound protection, burglar resistance and climate class, as well as fire doors. Customers include property developers, residential complexes, gastronomy and hospitality, and private builders in Austria and Germany. Consulting is provided via an online door configurator, the company's own showroom and a partner network; delivery to the construction site is carried out by the company's own truck.
