About us
Köster GmbH is a timber merchant and crate factory in Velbert. Founded in 1936, the company manufactures crates made of wood and plywood, custom crates with internal fittings, inserts or doors, trade fair crates, casings including reusable solutions, and pallets also in special sizes. In addition, semi-finished parts, cardboard boxes made of greyboard and industrial packaging are produced. In the trading sector, the company offers sawn timber and square-cut lumber, panels, profiled wood and cut-to-size boards. Production covers standard and custom products; in-house prototype production and small series to customer specifications are part of the service portfolio. The company is family-owned in its third generation and employs 14 staff at its site on Hohenzollernstraße in Velbert, which has existed since the founding.
