About Kohler Präzisionstechnik
Kohler Präzisionstechnik is a medium-sized company based in Aldingen in the district of Tuttlingen, between the Black Forest and the Swabian Jura. Since 1988, the company has been a partner for the machining of complex turned and milled parts made of difficult-to-machine materials such as rust-proof and acid-resistant stainless steel, titanium, nickel-based alloys (Inconel, Hastelloy) and high-strength aluminium — in small and medium batch sizes. The service portfolio covers turning, milling, sawing, the production and post-processing of additively manufactured parts as well as surface finishing through polishing, electropolishing, deburring and marking by laser or needle (including Datamatrix code for batch traceability). On request, Kohler delivers pre-assembled or ready-to-install assemblies and supports customers in co-engineering already during the development process. Customer industries include mechanical and plant engineering, aerospace engineering, fluid technology and valves, process metrology and sensor technology, laboratory and analytical technology as well as pharmaceutical, sterile and medical technology. The quality management system is certified to EN 9100:2018.

Materials & Processes
Rust-proof and acid-resistant stainless steel
Core material for precision parts, among others, in pharmaceutical, sterile and medical technology.
Titanium
For lightweight, corrosion-resistant components, among others, in aerospace engineering.
Inconel (nickel-based alloy)
For components subjected to high temperature and corrosion stress.
Hastelloy (nickel-based alloy)
For components under extremely corrosive conditions, e.g. in process and fluid technology.
High-strength aluminium
For lightweight precision parts in small and medium batch sizes.
CNC turning and CNC milling
Core processes for complex turned, milled and turn-mill parts in small and medium batch sizes.
Electropolishing
Increases corrosion resistance and reduces germ adhesion — in demand in pharmaceutical, sterile and medical technology.
Polishing (manual and robot-assisted)
Produces high surface qualities; automated with robots for medium and large series.
Marking (laser/needle, Datamatrix)
For batch traceability, part identification and as protection against counterfeiting.
Additive manufacturing & post-processing
Production of additive parts in stainless steel, superalloys and aluminium including machining of post-processing.
