HiKOKI Power Tools is the power tool brand of Koki Holdings Co., Ltd. (formerly Hitachi Koki), founded in Japan in 1948 as a manufacturer of mining machinery and power tools. The product range includes corded and cordless machines such as rotary hammers, drill drivers, impact drivers, saws (circular, mitre, sabre and jigsaw saws), nailers, routers as well as batteries, chargers and accessories. Proprietary technologies include the 36-volt MULTI VOLT battery system, AC brushless motors, and Oil Pulse and Air Spring Drive systems. In 2018 the company was renamed Koki Holdings, and the brand has carried the name HiKOKI since October 2018. The European headquarters, KOKI Holdings Europe GmbH, has been located in Nürtingen near Stuttgart since October 2019 and manages sales, service, warranty and spare parts supply in more than a dozen European countries. From 1979, the company developed its first cordless machine, followed in 2020 and 2021 by world premieres of cordless 36V devices. The products are aimed at professional users in construction, trades and industry.
