The Company
Kolb Stahl- und Metallhaus GmbH is a trading company based in Haigerloch in the Zollernalb district, specializing in the product forms of bars, wires and profiles for medical technology. The range includes rust-, acid- and heat-resistant steels, implant steel, titanium alloys, spring steels and specialty materials. In addition to trading, the company offers processing services such as sawing, cut-to-length, wire straightening, peeling, grinding and knurling, as well as testing services such as straightness inspection, spectral analysis, surface roughness measurement according to Ra and Rz, and residual magnetism measurement. On approximately 1,500 m² of warehouse space, goods are stored with computer support and batch-traceable; orders are also possible in very small quantities directly from warehouse stock, avoiding long lead times and high minimum order quantities. Long-standing partnerships with European manufacturers ensure consistent material quality and complete traceability of every batch. Customers come from medical and dental technology, precision engineering, electrical engineering, rolling bearing technology, aerospace, drive and control engineering, the automotive industry, fluid technology, as well as linear and metrology, and are supplied worldwide.
