Kolektor Insulation GmbH, based in Fellbach near Stuttgart, is a specialist in fire, acoustic and thermal protection for pipes and electrical conduits. The company develops and markets fire protection insulation collars, pipe closures rated R90, cable and combination closures rated S90 as well as structure-borne sound, airborne sound and condensation insulation for cast iron, steel and plastic pipes in wastewater and supply installations. The systems of the product brands Missel, PYRO-FOX, FST-Kombibox and KaRo are regularly tested in fire tests for fire behaviour and fire resistance and carry DIBt approvals (abZ/aBG), VKF numbers for Switzerland as well as European ETAs. Via the Rödermark branch, FST fire protection installation offers planning, delivery and installation of fire barriers, fire protection doors, fire doors and textile fire protection curtains in the Rhine-Main region. Customers come from building services, technical building equipment, electrical trades, industry and construction. Since 2008, the company, whose origins go back to E. Missel founded in 1887, has been part of the Slovenian Kolektor Group.
