About Kollmorgen

Kollmorgen Steuerungstechnik GmbH is a family-owned company headquartered in Cologne that has been developing and producing control systems and components for the international elevator industry since 1965. The portfolio includes tailored control concepts for traction elevators (with machine room, frame solution, MRL), hydraulic elevators, the CANopen-based C-line panel line with operating and display elements (COP, LOP, LIP, destination control system LXP-2030) as well as digital services such as liftbook, liftit and MPKlive via the subsidiary K-solutions. The entire range of services, from control electronics in the control cabinet to shaft wiring, traveling cables, shaft light and emergency call systems through to the panels, is supplied from a single source. Development, manufacturing and testing take place at the Cologne site; every system is manufactured and delivered tested from Germany. More than 100,000 built control systems document the widespread use of the products, which are deployed, among other places, in the Reichstag Building in Berlin, the Royal Opera House in London and the Dalian TV Tower.
