About Kolod Europe

Kolod Europe GmbH, based in Munich, is the European sales and logistics company of Jiangsu Kolod Food Ingredients Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of chemical raw materials, mineral salts and food additives with an annual group capacity of over 500,000 tonnes. The portfolio includes phosphates, citrates, chlorides, sulfates, formiates, acetates, oxalates and ammonium salts as well as iron oxalate (FeC₂O₄) as a precursor material for industrial LFP cathode production. Products are supplied in powder and granule form as well as liquid, from EU warehouse with a Europe-wide delivery time of a maximum of five working days. The products are used in cosmetics, food, feed, pharmaceutical and chemical production, and increasingly in battery production for European gigafactories. Price stability is achieved through a strategic warehousing and procurement strategy; technical evaluation is carried out using COA trend data, moisture and packaging specifications as well as samples for laboratory and pilot trials. From 2026, a dedicated European distribution center in Germany is planned.
