About Koloseus

Koloseus Metallverarbeitung GmbH is a family-run contract manufacturer for CNC machining based in Karlstein am Main in the Bavarian Lower Main region. Founded in 1985 by Bernd Koloseus, the company manufactures precision components and assemblies with around 30 employees for the automotive, mechanical and plant engineering, hydraulics, medical technology, pump and valve, and aerospace industries. Production capabilities include CNC turning (Ø 10–250 mm, bar production up to Ø 80 mm, including hard turning up to 62 HRC), CNC milling in 3- to 5-axis configurations with traverse paths up to 2,100 × 840 × 760 mm, and CNC external cylindrical grinding with tolerances of ± 2 µm and Ra ≤ 0.2 µm. In the component assembly area, turned parts, milled parts and ground shafts are assembled in Hall 2, function-tested and delivered ready for installation. Materials portfolio: steel (also hardened), stainless steel and duplex, Inconel and Hastelloy, aluminium, brass, copper, bronze, titanium, tantalum, molybdenum, as well as engineering plastics such as PEEK and POM. All processes are certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and first-article inspections are performed to PPAP/VDA 2 on Wenzel 3D metrology in an air-conditioned measuring room.
