About the Komax Group
Headquartered in Dierikon (Switzerland), the Komax Group specializes in automated wire processing. The portfolio comprises series machines and customer-specific systems for cutting, stripping, crimping and twisting wires as well as cables – from micro-coaxial cables from 42 AWG (0.07 mm conductor diameter) up to high-voltage automotive cables with cross-sections up to 300 mm² (35 mm outer diameter). In addition, the group supplies testing and quality assurance technology under the Komax Testing, Cirris and adaptronic brands – from crimp force monitoring and micrography to high-voltage test benches up to 5000 VAC/6000 VDC – as well as software (WIRE Mind, WIRE Insights) and on-demand manufacturing of sequential wire sets (wire2GO). More than 3,000 employees at around 60 companies sell and service the systems in over 60 countries; production sites include Dierikon, Thun, Wertheim, Tianjin and Shanghai, among others. Target industries are automotive (including autonomous driving), aerospace, rail, electronics, medical technology, energy, control cabinet manufacturing, data centers and oil & gas. The company is listed on the stock exchange (KOMN) and is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
